orkville Performing Arts Center (YPAC) provides dance, music and theatre classes as well as private lessons for all ages and skill levels. When you step into our center you will experience community through the arts and find a positive atmosphere where people grow, develop and give back to their communities by sharing their gifts and talents. Our dance community offers 3 distinct programs – beginner classes for all ages including adults, graded technique classes for children who enjoy learning beyond the basics and an intensive dancer program for students wishing to pursue dance competitively or as a possible career. Our music community offers music classes as well as private lessons for all ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced. Similarly our theatre community offers acting classes for any budding thespian. As an extension of our center we have also created the Little Blue Folk Music School. This is a music school specific to infants and early childhood committed to growing a community of families with children ages 0-7. Welcome to YPAC!

YPAC Gives Back

PAC Gives Back is about being generous and giving back to our community. We wanted generosity to be a part of our DNA from day one at the Yorkville Performing Arts Center. And we’re off to a great start! We haven’t even opened our doors yet and already we have led a food drive for the Kendall County Food Pantry for Thanksgiving and donated over 100 toys for the Gift Mart at Community Christian Church. Our goal is to host several events in our community throughout the year with each event benefiting people and meeting needs in some way.

mily shares her thoughts and advice from dance to family to personal growth on a regular basis in her blog. Being a hard working mother of three (including two under the age of three) and having been involved in dance for 25+ years she has a lot to share. She doesn’t publish on a set schedule (Why? See previous sentence) but follow her blog and you will get some good laughs and great insights.
e are currently in the process of finalizing plans to build out and add an addition to two buildings we own at 2161 Rt 47 in Yorkville. This will give us 4500 square feet of space to provide dance studios and music rooms for students starting in the summer/fall of 2013. It will be easy to watch our progress. We are located right on Route 47 just north of Boombah Blvd (old Wheaton Ave) and Community Christian Church and just south of Raging Waters waterpark. Drive by and check it out!
